HOMES UK

An unmissable event for housing and asset management, development and sustainability professionals

HOMES UK  is the largest free-to-attend conference and exhibition of its kind. Bringing together over 4,500 housing sector professionals to discuss how to build and maintain high-quality, sustainable homes in communities where people will thrive.

In 2023, housing providers face increased obligations to simultaneously: improve housing standards and tackle disrepair, empower tenants, meet net zero targets, address building safety and increase housing supply.

In the face of limited resources, it’s more important than ever to collaborate and find complementary strategic goals to achieve more together.

Dan Pardesi, our social housing expert, will be joining the agenda for a panel session on ‘Energy-efficiency: Don’t let data hold you back’ at 2.45 p.m. on the Unlock Net Zero Live main stage. This session will address the challenges when getting your organisation data ready for better energy and carbon performance. It will cover gathering a single source of truth for your data and how to better measure the impact of energy-saving projects to improve the quality of future investments.

Agenda

Obtaining accurate and useful data is still proving a barrier for housing providers proceeding on their net zero journeys. Collecting stock condition data is crucial for understanding both the energy performance of your broader property estate and identifying those homes most likely to be facing fuel poverty and in need of energy improvements. This session will address core challenges for getting your organisation’s data ready for better energy and carbon performance:
  • Gathering a single source of truth for your data
  • How to better measure the impact of energy-saving projects to improve the quality of future investments.
  • Modelling through retrofit archetypes to future-proof retrofit works.
