Saving over £650k for large housing association

Looking to reduce their energy consumption costs, the client looked to Inenco to help them achieve their energy targets for their 2400 sites.

The Challenge

This large Housing Group manages over 52,000 homes in the UK and been established for nearly 90 years. With their complex multi-site portfolio across a multitude of locations, they needed a way to manage and identify energy cost-saving opportunities across the sites.

As well as their objectives, they were also called to a Section 20 tribunal (where a landlord proposing any major works that will cost more than £250 per individual tenant, must first carry out an S20 consultation with all the buildings tenants and leaseholders).

Through consolidating and managing incoming utility invoices, Inenco were able to achieve a considerable validation saving, while managing their ongoing requirements and providing invoice management and consolidations.

Our strategies helped the client make a substantial saving of £58,000 for power and £593,000 for gas; totalling £651,000 across the clients multi-sites.

Our Approach

04
Cost Reductions

Putting the energy saving strategy into place, Inenco made a considerable difference in their bottom line
