What to expect at Inenco’s Summer Utilities Forum

If you’re like us, you’re probably wondering how we’re in June already – but the current British weather certainly makes us think it’s time for our Summer Forum!

Here’s a quick taster of what you can expect at the Summer Utilities Forum this Thursday…

Expert speakers

This year’s line-up is full of fantastic speakers. We’re delighted that news anchor and journalist Maxine Mawhinney will be our host. And we’re looking forward to gaining a wide variety of views on the future of energy from seasoned TEDx speakers like futurologist Dean van Leeuwen and Challenging Ideas’ CEO Laura Sandys, to industry influencers like Richard Tarboton, Director of Energy at EY, and BusinessGreen editor James Murray. You’ll also hear from some of our in-house experts, including our CEO Gary Stokes.

Key insights

We’ll be focusing on how we can expect the energy industry to change in the future. We’ll take you into the not-so-distant future, with insights into what we can expect to happen to UK energy policies once we’ve left the EU, and the far-off future, with a preview of our Future Utilities Manager report, which will predict what energy managers will be doing in 2050. You’ll gain an understanding of what the energy system of the future will look like, how we’ll get there and how it will affect your business.

Practical advice

Once we’ve told you how the energy landscape is likely to change in future years, we’ll also help you to future-proof your business and your skillset. Behavioural psychologist Lee Warren will be rounding off the day with key advice on how to improve your skills to ensure that you’re prepared for how your role will change in the future. You’ll also be given the chance to put any questions you may have to our speakers and have a chat with any of our experts about how we can help your business to adapt to future challenges.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday.
